Mmmm, not sure. Seems a problem with the json python module (simplejson) and your system. If helps, the windows distribution (installer) was made in a machine with a XP 32bit as OS . If you want to try you can download the python interpreter for windows and compile the simplejson module by your own and then run the pjaiku script.

If you want you can try with this beta version: [pjaiku0222b.py][http://h.ordia.com.ar/pjaiku/beta/pjaiku0222b.py]. At the moment, you have to edit the .config file to change the font size. There are two fontsizes, one general and the html font size (for the overview part, the jaiku messages). Let me know if have trouble.

Are you asking about the python code or about how works the feature? just shows a small preview beside the user avatar and it's also linked to the original one (at flickr.com)
check this screenshot: http://h.ordia.com.ar/pjaiku/screenshots/flickr_preview.png

really nice! if you has questions about pjaiku issues just ask... on the other hand, i think/suppose there is a nearly standard way for python scripts packaging (i saw it a couple of times, i think something with setup.py and build)
maybe you want to join to #pjaiku channel
very thanks!

if you want, try with this updated version: http://h.ordia.com.ar/pjaiku/pjaiku_022.tar.gz (actually is version 0.221)
i have fixed a minor bug (from a new incompleted feature) that maybe affects you if you not execute it first time from pjaiku path or you move it after that
