Very weird, i tested again many times in several computers and works without problems
any of you could you paste your console output in pastebin.com or similar site?
.config file it's created when you run pjaiku from first time (after ask you about your username and api key)
anyway, if you want to create it manually:

yes, but the problem seems related with the fact that pjaiku can't open the "./.config" file in write mode. Do you have permision to write in that dir? could be an bad owner set issue? (for example you decompressed with root and then tried to execute with a normal user)

yes, that's seems a common issue since last weeks and nothing was changed in the source code, i think they (jaiku.com) changed their api or have some problems with their server. For example, after many tries i get the post online and every time i'm getting an ok status as a response from jaiku servers. I/we should contact jaiku staff for more info... cheers

First, i think you have to find out how they do that... where they store them and how they send it throught jaiku api. AFAIK jaiku icons works through icons id's (#calls">link

good! two newlines did the work of one newline... that's seems 'the secret' for jaiku comments ;-)

For this app, I think this channel is the best place for comments or feature request (at least ATM) more funny and we can use pjaiku :-)
I'll check if there is a way to get the 'public timeline' with json format...
(better open new thread in this channel with your suggestions... they're welcome!)
